THE ARTIST
I’m Ashley! You can find me in my studio most days with either a pencil or paintbrush in hand with my little ones in tow. I’m a wife and a mama living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where I was born and raised. I love Jesus, and I believe he’s the one who gave me this gift for art and the passion to create. My story is marked by many highs and lows in life thus far, and every bit of the journey influences my creative process as an artist.
THE ARTWORK
Behind every piece of artwork I create is the vision to bring beauty, hope, and life to our world. I believe deeper things are surfaced in every one our hearts through art because it connects us to the master craftsman of our own soul. I fully intend to reflect our Creator in everything I create and my desire is to bring about the goodness of God by showcasing his strength and beauty through my artwork. There really is nothing like putting my paintbrush or pencil against a blank canvas and bringing to life the visions he’s placed in my mind and heart. As God speaks and Holy Spirit leads, I ready my hands to release His kingdom through my work.
THE STUDIO
My studio has always operated within the walls of my own home. I’m so grateful to be able to work from home as an artist while also raising my little ones. The artwork I create in my studio has been one of the best platforms for me to share the heart of God and love on people in a completely unique and beautiful way. The space in which I work is intended to be place of freedom - where creating art is an act of worship, a place to heal, and an expression of love and beauty from the deep places of my heart. It is ultimately an avenue of connection to God’s heart - for myself and for all those who encounter the work I create.
THE VISION
The vision behind what I do is based on Isaiah 61 - Binding up the broken-hearted, proclaiming liberty to captives, bringing beauty for ashes and praise for heaviness. This is my heart cry and this is where the roots of my life and my artwork dig deep. Every purchase you make is an investment not only in my small business and family, but more importantly in a greater story of bringing life, hope, and freedom to our hurting world that desperately needs real encounter with the love of our Father.
